@_homeofvictoria’s home office makeover

In a bid to transform her outdated home office into a sanctuary of productivity and style, interior influencer @_homeofvictoria embarked on a journey with j2 Flooring, to elevate her space with our HC93 – Country Oak LVT.

Victoria’s home is a testament to her love for blending traditional rustic elements into a modern aesthetic. Her desire to extend this style into her home office sparked the need for a complete floor-to-ceiling renovation. The existing outdated blue carpet with floral patterns had to go, paving the way for a fresh, high-end look that also offered durability and easy maintenance.

We hoped to achieve a high-end look, and by using a wood effect LVT, we still maintained the rustic feel to our home, but also had flooring that is hard wearing and really easy to clean!

Ensuring a harmonious transition from her office space to the broader interior of her home was paramount for Victoria, and HC93 – Country Oak delivered exactly that.

Victoria also prioritised authenticity in her flooring selection, aiming for a genuine wood feel. The pronounced grain and textured appearance, coupled with the registered embossing, beautifully achieved this. Additionally, the bevelled edges of each plank expertly replicated the look of real wood pieces.

Victoria, her boyfriend and dad, embarked on the flooring renovation themselves. Leveraging her dad’s expertise, they carefully prepared the subfloor and flawlessly installed the HC93 – Country Oak LVT. The product went down like a dream and the trio ensured every detail was executed to perfection.

The transformation is nothing short of breathtaking. The blend of wood tones, textures, and warm hues creates a captivating ambiance that exudes both elegance and comfort. With boucle finishes adding depth to the space, Victoria’s home office has become a sanctuary where productivity thrives.

When asked about her space, Victoria commented

We are over the moon! We get so many compliments on the flooring and how it has changed the space so much. It finally feels like a proper office space and already has meant we feel much more productive!
