Iconic: The Vision Behind the Collection
We’re kicking off the year with the exciting launch of our most organic LVT collection yet, Iconic. A collection of 8 stunning wood LVT flooring…
Your hallway is single handedly the most important space in creating a warm welcome to your home, yet so often it’s overlooked.
The beauty of the hallway is that it doesn’t even take a lot to make it beautiful. Just a little bit of thought and some carefully selected finishes, and you’ve got a space ready to welcome you at the end of the day and give guests a glimpse into your personal style.
If you’ve been neglecting your hallway, this is your sign to give it the attention it deserves.
We hate to kick things off with the boring stuff but as a high traffic space that deals with muddy shoes, wet coats, bags being dropped, and constant footfall, durability is key.
Think hardwearing, easy to clean flooring that can withstand daily wear, wipeable paint finishes, and plenty of storage like built-in cupboards, benches and wall hooks to keep clutter at bay. When practicality is considered from the start, your hallway doesn’t just look good, it makes everyday life easier too.
Your hallway sets the tone for the rest of your home so you want to create a feeling of warmth, and few finishes do that better than wood.
You can introduce wood through flooring. Laying wood planks lengthways can help elongate the space, while intricate patterns such as basket weave, herringbone or panel designs add character and detail. Pictured here is our BSK43 – Carpenters Oak Basket Weave bringing an instant injection of warmth and character.

Wood effect LVT flooring is an ideal choice for hallways, combining the appearance of natural wood with the practical benefits needed for such a busy area. It’s also easy to install in those statement patterns that can give your hallway a subtle wow factor, while the same shade in more understated patterns can be carried through into adjoining rooms for a seamless, cohesive look.
If space allows, introduce wood through furniture too. A console table adds warmth and functionality. Providing vital storage and the opportunity for styling as a focal point in the room. Finish with a mirror to create the illusion of space and allow for those last minute touch ups before heading out.
The most impactful hallways don’t shy away from personality. Don’t be afraid to be expressive with patterns or colours. Whether on the floor, the walls or through artwork and styling. You don’t have to go daring if that’s not your style. The key is designing with intention and making choices that let your personal style shine.
If you favour a classic aesthetic, traditional victorian tiles bring a strong design statement to your space. Pictured here our Chester design features in Grey, White and Light Blue. The pops of pastel throughout the space and the tile design make the perfect match for a timeless but balanced look

Alternatively consider a classic wood panel to bring the warmth of wood and classic style together. Pictured here is our CAS48 – Glacier Oak Castell Panel. The contrast between the modern styling and colourway, and the timeless design brings a beautiful sense of balance to the space.

If your preference is something a little more modern, consider a geometric pattern in a soft muted tone. Pictured here in Rebecca Riley’s home, our LUN002 – Luna Beige and Cream LVT tiles are used as a focal point alongside our HER51 – Pale Oak Herringbone LVT tiles for a warm welcome. Rebecca is all about modern organic and the space is finished beautifully with some well selected accessories.

Or create a look that leans towards Scandinavian-inspired simplicity. The ashy and versatile tones of our NT52 – Timber Greige feature in a plank here, to elongate the space creating a bright, effortless and clean look. Muted tones, practical storage and a few well-placed plants bring warmth and life.

Go all in on the cosy vibes with a rustic farmhouse country aesthetic. Pictured here is our BSK83 – Galloway Basketweave, the rich grain helps create a rugged and natural look typical of this style and the rich olive green paint brings for a moody and intimate feel. Finish with accessories that embrace texture to complete the look. For a similar look but a touch darker we love this look using our CHA58 – Scorched Timber Chateau Panel.

The key takeaway? Don’t overlook your hallway. Make it functional but also a space that reflects you and what your home is all about. A space that makes you feel at ease as you walk through the door. Explore our full LVT flooring portfolio and give your hallway a fresh and welcoming lift.
